So this reserve started off great and is shaping up nicely. Since coming back from NYC I’ve enjoyed two days off. During this down time I’ve opened my crew lounge on Facebook and spent some times with my friend who is currently neck deep in books studying to become a fellow cabin crew. Three of us used Saturday to escape to the small town of Al Ain.
This township has novelties like grass and trees that my Canadian friend has been desperately missing since she came to the sandpit. There is also an animal park that pretty much collects exotic pets that have out grown their welcome and cuteness.
The park has a very sweet gorilla that enjoys company and kisses through the glass.
She has a new pet rabbit and watching the two play around touched my soft side and I got my creature fix for the week. We made a day out of Al Ain and little miss Canada got to relax before returning back home to start on her medical studies.
Tonight I have another 1 to 5 am date with the standby lounge and I get to play that fun game where in the world will I go.
