Air Albania confirmed immediate medical care was given to the 24-year-old crew member, and she was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. However, the crew member did not survive.

Yesterday the airline released a statement via social media honoring the fallen crew member and listed a heart attack as the cause of death. “We will always remember Greta as a passionate professional, a great colleague, and a very good friend to us all,” the airline wrote. “Believing that she is today among the mercy of God, Air Albania will continue to stand by her family.”
